Central Void | Connecting Atrium | Fragmentation

The aim of the Gate is to introduce Wynwood to the world at the intersection of art and trade through a central void.
The corner condition of the building allowed for a specific and defined central void going from the ground level up to 112’. It formed a frame that could be viewed from the adjacent I95 expressway. Achieving the purpose of inviting individuals into the area to enjoy the art, the entertainment, and the architecture
Variation and separation of the program is formed by the fragmentation of mass. As the mass fragments, intricate interior arteries constantly shift to provide a continuous horizontal circulation. The arteries are surrounded by wall art leading to a particular partition or open courtyard.
