Study Abroad Japan2015

An exhibition gallery designed through the concept of spatial tessellation.
A ribbon of repeated but joined triangular shapes unfolds throughout the site creating intricate but unique simple spaces. These spaces not only function as exhibition rooms, but they are for the individuals to appreciate and unwind while looking at the beautiful scenery of Teshima Island.
Inspired by the form + construction of Japanese origami.
